Big Oaks Apartment Homes, Lakeland, FL

Task

Design and build a complete apartment home complex.

Scope of Work

Weber Group designed and built six apartment buildings, a clubhouse, a pool, and a mail kiosk. All 134 luxury apartments are two or three bedrooms, with private patios and washer/dryer connections. The apartment complex itself is equipped with a theater room, a cyber cafe, a playground, a fitness room, and storage units.

Louisville, Kentucky

Scope of Work

Weber Group acts as design architects with City Properties Group and as general contractor for The EDGE at Liberty Green, an evolving mixed-use development dispersed throughout a 12 block area in eastern Downtown Louisville, Kentucky. Located near the Medical and Research District, the EDGE is interspersed with pedestrian walkways, green spaces and plazas. The first phase of the 400+ unit development includes three to four story “City Home” Row Housing units with flexible floor plans, allowing for use as residential or mixed-use spaces.

Scope of Work

The 42 town home units of Warsaw Towne Homes were constructed on a relatively flat and open site. The buildings offer traditional exterior materials and layout. Interiors include a variety of features targeted at moderate income renters.

Scope of Work

Located conveniently at 4613 Cane Run Road, Whispering Woods is just a few minutes from I-264 making it easy to get to from just about anywhere. This 98-unit apartment community of two- and three-bedroom design was created with families in mind. You will find an outdoor grill area along with a large playground. Don’t forget the community garden! Whispering Woods is also close to schools, shopping and restaurants. Each unit boasts eight foot ceilings and plenty of storage space. Upgraded washers-dryers, beautiful wood flooring, large bathrooms, open kitchens and finishes that offer a modern and upscale feel make Whispering Woods a wonderful place to call home.

New Orleans, Louisiana

Scope of Work

Weber Group acted as construction manager and associated architects for this Novogradic Award Winning mixed-use development in Central City, New Orleans. The project is the city’s first LEED certified multi-family development. Located on the edge of the Central City National Historic District, The Muses Apartments is a 263‐unit, mixed‐income development that transforms nearly five acres of abandoned, urban infill property into a neighborhood hub and a bridge to the economic activity along St. Charles Avenue and the Garden District. This was a two-phase development, Phase 1 completed in September 2010 and Phase 2 (52 units) in spring 2011.

Park Place Apartments

Scope of Work

The Park Place at Loyola Apartments is a gated community located just off Highway 183 in Austin and is convenient to shopping, schools and significant workforce opportunities. On site, residents can enjoy amenities including a clubhouse facility with a community center, garages, walking trails, business center with computers and internet connections, an Olympic size swimming pool, children’s playground, fitness center and a state-of-the-art theater room. The 246 spacious apartments range from a one bedroom, one bath floor plan to those with three bedrooms and two baths. Each apartment includes features such as: nine foot ceilings, covered patios and balconies, washer/dryer hookups and an on-site community laundry facility. In addition, garages and carports are available for residents. Park Place at Loyola Apartments are part of the S.M.A.R.T. Housing (Safe, Mixed Income, Accessible, Reasonably Priced and Transit Oriented) initiative, which stimulates the creation of reasonably priced homes in Austin and requires that all new construction meets Green Building Standards.

Completed in 2007, the Villas at Santora is equipped with energy efficient appliances in every apartment and access to an Olympic-size swimming pool, theater room and fitness center for all residents. The 192 garden-style apartments are situated on 50 acres of beautiful Texas land. Residents are minutes from downtown Austin and can enjoy easy access to IH-35.The Villas at Santora utilize green building practices.
