Task

Design and build a fresh, on-brand look for the Louisville Visitors Center in downtown Louisville, KY

Scope of Work

No matter how you pronounce it, Louisville is a must visit kind of town.  Hospitality, culture, horses and of course, bourbon abound! The Visitors Center welcomes hundreds of thousands guests a year to purchase attractions tickets, get restaurant information or directions, and to redeem a Bourbon Trail passport.  The Center combines the feel of a museum, retail store, and customer service center with the exceptional hospitality Louisville is known for. Louisville greets guest from around the world and WGI made sure their first stop is a memorable experience.  Through the renovation, Weber Group designed and built an experiential Center that brings the Greater Louisville Convention and Visitors Bureau brand to life with reclaimed barn wood counters, back drops, and furniture mixed with sleek, blond maple casework and illuminated transparencies of Louisville icons.  Graphics of the Center’s Louisville, Louavull, Looeyville national marketing campaign wrap the building’s exterior on Fourth Street Live and a Bourbon Country storefront display reminds guests exactly where they’ve landed.
