Case Study

Frankenmuth, Michigan

Task

Design, Build & Fabricate enchanted-themed elements for the Zehnder’s Hotel & Splash Village in Frankenmuth, Michigan. The Hotel & Water Park theming was fully Designed, Fabricated & Installed by Weber Group Inc.

Scope of Work

In Frankenmuth, or what the locals call, ‘Little Bavaria,’ sits the Zehnder’s family restaurant, nestled in the heart of this charming town, and has been serving the best Fried Chicken in Michigan for four generations. A little ways down the road, you’ll find the Zehnder’s Hotel & Splash Village, which Weber Group helped design & fabricate.

In keeping with the Bavarian culture of the town, Weber Group worked with the Zehnders to create a themed environment as set in the enchanted Black Forest of Bavaria. This magical Black Forest is said to be the home of many mythical creatures. A place where Giant Mushrooms and Tree-sized Flowers tower above your head, and Elves & Fairies roam freely…

Weber Group helped bring this magical vision to life from the initial, conceptual design, through to specialty fabrication and finally, theming installation. The project went so well, Weber Group is back in Frankenmuth this Fall, working with the Zehnder’s on their massive Hotel & Water Park expansion. The New Water Park will include a retractable roof, and more than doubles the square feet of its Water Park space. The expansion will also add 32 rooms to the Hotel… Needless to say Weber Group is excited to back in Frankenmuth with Zehnder’s again.
