Ground was just broken on LDG Development’s new 211-unit apartment community in Central City New Orleans, the Muses.  It is a mixed-use development to be built in three phases that will breath new life into the urban core.  It takes great teams of folks to bring these projects to life!  Partners include Gulf Coast Housing Partnership, LDG Development, and Jericho Road Episcopal Housing Initiative.  Weber Group is providing design services for the project as well as construction administration.  The Muses is within walking distance of the St. Charles Avenue Trolley Car and it bridges two neighborhoods- Central City and the Garden District.  A good time was had by all at the groundbreaking including students from the neighborhood who performed on traditional African drums, snow balls and mardi gras beads, and even fans for keeping cool in the hot New Orleans weather.
